Shuttle provides all-new Mini PC for diverse applications-SH81R4
Shuttle Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers, today announced the launch of its new 8 series model, the SH81R4, based on Intel®’s H81 express chipset to support Intel® Haswell/Haswell Refresh CPUs. The SH81R4 has excellent performance and features strong expansion capability.
Compact, the SH81R4 has one PCI-E x16, one PCI-E x1, and two mini PCIe slots. Install dual-slot high-end graphics card, multi-display graphic cards, surveillance cards, RAID cards, mSATA SSD, or a WIFI module to drive video wall, network video recorder, file server applications, and more.
Shuttle’s SH81R4 supports Intel® fourth-generation Haswell/Haswell Refresh Core™ i3/i5/i7, Pentium®, and Celeron® processors. The Core™ i3/i5/i7 processors have integrated Intel® HD Graphics series support and built-in DirectX 11.1 to support 4K Ultra-HD video content. The system is equipped with one HDMI and one DVI-I output at the back panel and supports dual-screen display.

The Intel® H81 Express Chipset supports Gigabit LAN, SATA 6Gbps, and USB3.0 high-speed storage interfaces, providing superb data transfer speed. Use BIOS to set up the Wake-on-LAN function in order to power-on from sleep mode, rest mode, or when powered off via the internet; the device also supports Power-On by RTC function. With automatic ‘Power On’ by RTC via BIOS, the device can also be turned on and off with the Windows task scheduler.
The XPC SH81R4 is also equipped with an 80 PLUS Bronze certified 300W power supply and Shuttle’s exclusive I.C.E. 2 heat pipe technology for highly energy-efficient and stable long-term operation. Another key highlight of the SH81R4 is the chassis support for Mini-ITX motherboard (17x17 cm or 6.7x6.7 inches) so you can easily upgrade to the mainboard of your desire without any modifications to the chassis.
