Shuttle to launch its fanless 1-liter Slim PCs with Intel® Braswell platform
Shuttle Inc., the global leader in small form factor computer technology, today announces two new slim PCs to its XS series, the XS35V5 series and the XS36V5. Shuttle’s new 1-liter XS35V5 series and XS36V5 signage players support Intel® Braswell platform technology and DDR3Llow-voltage memory module, featured low power consumption and energy saving.
The V5 series with fanless design has been approved for continuous 24/7 operation within 0-40 ⁰C application environments to ensure long-term stable and silent operation.
The XS35V5 series and XS36V5 are equipped with 14nm Intel® Celeron® N3050 dual-core processors. With integrated Intel® HD Graphics, both are capable of playing Full HD video flawlessly and support three independent-screen displays via DisplayPort, HDMI, and D-sub.
Both have built-in 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and IEEE802.11b/g/n wireless network that provides high-speed data transmission
The XS35V5 series provides two different outlooks, including XS35V5 and XS35V5 Pro.
This series features a body thickness of only 38.5mm and can be configured with either a 12.7mm ODD drive (Slim ODD) or an additional hard drive for more storage. In addition to one USB2.0 and multiple USB3.0 at the front and rear panel, the XS35V5 series provides one internal USB 2.0 port. Users can install a USB TV tuner, USB 3G module, or other USB expanders.
The 36mm-thin XS36V5 has built-in one USB 3.0 and multiple USB2.0. It also can power peripherals with one RS232 and one RS232/RS422/RS485 com port that both support 0V/5V/12V. Connect with barcode scanners, receipt printers, keypads, and other peripheral.
Featuring energy efficient models of XS35V5 series and XS36V5 are VESA mountable and made easily configured into peripheral-heavy Queuing system, thin client, POS, POI, Kiosk, and Digital Signage.
