Shuttle offers a powerful 4K Mini PC with Intel® Skylake platform
Shuttle Inc., the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers today announced the launch of XPC cube SH170R6, support the new generation Skylake platform technology. The SH170R6 is equipped with Intel® H170 Express chipset and supports Intel® 6th Gen LGA1151 processors, integrating Intel® HD Graphics that support to play 4K/Ultra HD video content*. At the back panel of SH170R6 provides one HDMI and two DisplayPort for three independent screen displays.
*Intel® Pentium® and Celeron® processors built-in Intel® HD graphics cannot support 4K video playback capability.
Equipped with the new LGA 1151 socket, SH170R6 supports Intel® sixth-generation Skylake Core™ i3/i5/i7, Pentium®, and Celeron® 95W processors. It is built-in four DDR4 memory slots to support dual-channel DDR4 2133 up to 64GB (16GBx4). Able to support Gigabit LAN, SATA 6Gbps, and USB3.0 high-speed storage interfaces, providing superb data transfer speed.
Only 1/3 the size of a tower PC, the SH170R6 provides one PCI-E x16 and one PCI-E x4 slots. Use PCI-E x4 to install multi-display graphics cards, monitor cards, RAID cards, or WIFI module and drive video wall, network video recorder, file server applications and more. This compact machine supports one M.2 and one half size Mini PCI-e slots which can be installed M.2 SSD, WLAN module, and other compatible modules. With eight USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and one eSATA, it features a strong expansion capability.
Another key feature of the SH170R6 is its storage capacity. Shuttle’s XPC series reserves space for installation of one 5.25” ODD and two 3.5” hard disks. With optional PHD3 accessory users can install a maximum of four 2.5” hard drives (or SSDs). The SH170R6 supports Intel® Rapid Storage Technology and RAID 0/5/10 disk array operation modes for faster data access rates greater data protection.
The SH97R6 is also equipped with an 80 PLUS Bronze certified 300W power supply and Shuttle’s exclusive I.C.E. 2 heat pipe technology for highly energy-efficient and stable long-term operation.
