Shuttle XPC — The choice is clear

CNET.com, a premier source for IT product reviews, guides and purchasing advice, prefers Shuttle XPCs to competing brands when it comes to Media Center applications. Sizing up the advantages of several Media Center computers, CNET recommended the XPC G2 7500 as a great Media Center computer.

“For some time now, we've been crying out for new PC case designs to shoehorn a Media Center PC into your home theater,” said reviewer Matthew Elliot. “You'd have a tough time finding room for the $2,200 Sony VAIO VGC-RA810G's vertically oriented case in your A/V rack; a small-form-factor case such as Shuttle's XPC G2 7500M would work better, space wise.”
In their original review of the G2 7500 several months previous, CNET called this machine a “power-packed PC that's perfect … as a Media Center PC,” and it scored an excellent 82% on the CNET benchmarks.

Media Center XPC gives you easy access to more types of entertainment experiences without the complexity of multiple devices. Media Center XPCs are built to deliver the picture and sound quality you expect from a digital entertainment center.

Better still, Media Center XPC delivers a smoother, sharper picture on high-resolution progressive scan displays. And when it comes to displays, the XP17 is hard to beat. With its large 1280x1024 pixel resolution and immaculate design, the XP17 is the perfect compliment for the XPC in the Media Center.
